Bio & Artist Resume

Paige Nicholas is an American photographer whose work explores the beauty of everyday moments and the subtle passage of time, and this relates to both her childhood experiences and new ones. Through portraits and landscapes, Paige uses photography to preserve fleeting experiences, freezing them in time so they remain forever young, unique, and alive. Her work invites viewers to pause and notice the changes in the textures of a landscape, the evolving expressions of a face, or the quiet transformation of familiar places and things.
Raised in South Austin, Paige grew up surrounded by the vibrant culture, natural beauty, and creative energy of Austin, Texas. She uses Austin as a base to continue showing the elements she is capturing, so she can embrace how they are influencing her visual storytelling. She strives to capture not just what something looks like, but how it feels in a given moment.
Paige is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography at Texas State University in San Marcos, TX, where she continues to refine her technical skills and artistic voice. Her practice centers on observation, memory, and the passage of time, reminding viewers that even as everything changes, photographs allow us to hold on to the essence of what once was.
